The following inventions have been made by real inventors, they are true inventions that have changed the world. As Englishmen we do not blow our trumpets as often as we should. We do not advertise the way that certain population groups do, then claim to be the brightest people on the planet. These groups then run conventions due to their wealth and grant awards to themselves that they have full control over, thus edging out true genius, this stunts free thinking which leads to control. A typical example below, compare Albert Einstein with Sir Isaac Newton.
Sir Isaac Newton his contribution to establishing science and the scientific method as providing the best description of the material world, and the awe in which he was held by his contemporaries, were neatly encapsulated early in the eighteenth century by the poet Alexander Pope, with his famous couplet Nature and Nature's laws lay hid in night: God said, Let Newton be! and all was light.

2. Invented the reflecting telescope in 1668.
3. Discovered that white light was made up of all the colour's of the spectrum
4. Invented calculus.
